The BLA is not just about bringing in some speakers and having meetings for the sake of meetings. The BLA does bring in great speakers such as the Giants General counsel, however, its real benefit comes in other areas. The BLA serve as a powerful tool for our members to accomplish goals around campus and beyond, the BLA forms as a networking platform allowing its members to expand their network beyond the law school microcosm, and the BLA allows members the opportunity to socialize with others that have the same interests and focuses.
The BLA's members encompass all types of J.D. and M.B.A. students. Those interested in joining large firms, those interested in making sure their public interest projects run as an efficient business, those that want to make sure they have the necessary business sense to run a company, manage a firm, or interact with co-worker, and many more. In addition to these aspect, the BLA is a social organization that brings people together for bar nights, Giants games, and and a variety of events.
