• Recommends candidates for membership to Board & general membership

• Administers Chapter fundraising campaigns and projects

• Maintains Chapter archives
• Creates Chapter displays for programs, regional assemblies, & bienniums

Membership Involvement

• Membership Involvement Committee
• Plans ways to increase membership involvement
• Fosters involvement in current members and assists Eligibility Committee to recruit new members
• Follows up on members who have become inactive

• Assists the newsletter editor to solicit, edit, and develop final copy of Visions
• Oversees printing and distribution of newsletter and Chapter mailings

• Publicizes positions open for election or appointment
• Assists with nomination process for each elected & appointed positions
• Obtains candidate statements & prepares ballot for each elected position
• Appoints tellers for each election & oversees tallying of election results

• Collaborates with Program Committee to plan annual research events
• Collaborates with other Bay Area Chapters to promote joint research events
