The Bumble Bee
The bumble bee is full of life,
Performing as he goes
A dance that has no parallel
For nimbleness of toes.
His coat is thick and shaggy, just
The perfect coat to wear
For one who in the insect world
Is like a flying bear.
You'll never hear a high-pitched whine
Or irritating drone
Proceed from him--he mumbles in
A velvet baritone.
In short, the bumble bee is fit
To wear the crown of kings;
He is a truly regal sort
Of royalty with wings.
